Korean Streamer Goes Viral

Recently, a twitter post of a twitch streamer went viral. Popular Korean twitch streamer Yoojin is a Korean student currently lives in Los angeles. She mostly streams and plays the game apex legends and Valorant. She reached over 21,000 followers on the twitch platform. In the clip video that she posted on twitter during one of her recent streams, she described something she herself had experienced and witnessed.

She went on to explain that sometimes men will donate at her stream then act as if they are entitled to having a conversation. She stated during the stream; “I just wanna be the person that tells you guys how it is, so that you don’t delude yourselves and that you don’t waste your time…if you are in Twitch and you come into a girl’s stream and you think ‘oh her stream is still small I might have a chance’, you’re f*ed up. That’s a little bit predatory, not even a little bit, like, high-key predatory.”

She further described the incidents that happen, as she says that it would normally begin with a gesture such as a donation then after that some guys are like going to twitch whisper to her and she will have to say thanks to them and then they started spamming her chat and when she didn’t respond, they are going to be like ‘oh my god she’s such a b** how could this happen to me… I called you cute like 5 days a row in chat like how could you do this to me.’ – as she explained on her stream. Her twitter post quickly gained more than 25,000 likes and it had several responses, mostly from other twitch streamers that are backing up her point of view.
