KiaraaKitty Pokes Fun At The Simp Ban

Twitch tweeted on December 17th; “We wanted to clear up any misunderstandings about language that can be used on Twitch. At the core of it, we’re focused on doing what we can to protect our community from harassment. We do not have a blanket ban on the use of words like “simp” in casual banter, but will take action when words like this (amongst others) are used to harass and harm community members.”

Simp is a slang insult for men who are seen as too attentive and submissive to women, especially out of a failed hope of winning some entitled sexual attention or activity from them. The word simp is meant to troll young men for doing anything for a girl to get some action he supposedly deserves.

KiaraaKitty announced in her stream that she will be raising  $2000 funds for her mandatory two-week hotel stay at the start of her Singapore trip. She encourages her followers to watch her while she’s wearing a bikini. She explained in her video these words; “That’s why today I’m doing a bikini stream, to try to farm for… yeah we cannot say that anymore, the c-word, the s-word. So try to farm for […].” After a period of trying to think of any other word she could use instead, she eventually settled by saying “trying to farm for… h*rny motherf***ers. Oh no, we cannot say that too. I don’t know what to say okay, just try to farm.” She’s trying to be careful but it is obvious that she makes fun of “simp” ban.

She fulfilled her promise to wear a bikini while streaming. KiaraaKitty had raised around  $700 towards the hotel costs.
