The Key to Becoming a Successful Streamer

One of the most popular female twitch streamers Imane Anys aka Pokimane shared some advice to her viewers on how to become a successful streamer. Pokimane is known for being the one of the most popular streamers on twitch and aside from that, she is also the most followed female twitch streamer and has become the second most watched female streamer behind the youtube streamer Valkyrae.

Pokimane gained over 7.6 million followers on her twitch channel where she streams a variety of games such as Among Us, Valorant and more. During one of her recent live broadcasts, Pokimane provided some advice to her viewers who might want to build their own streaming career. In the process of explaining, Pokimane recalled some of her own experiences when she was first starting out to build a career in the past which made her a little emotional. Pokimane got emotional when she recalled the time that some people were telling her that she would just fail. She stated; “I still remember those words of like, this isn’t going to happen, you’re not going to know how to play the next game, and you’re going to be begging to go back to school, I remember it every now and then.”

Pokimane gave advice to her viewers stating that “perseverance” is the key quality that you need to find what works for you. She said; “I hope that it can be an example to some to believe in yourself even if other people don’t. You know yourself and your potential better than they do. If you feel like you have a passion, and you have a dream, and you have a plan, try it. The most important quality is perseverance. Perseverance against the naysayers, or the people that don’t believe in you, or the people that wanna put you down for no good reason.”
