Jschlatt Mocks Dream

Dream has been one of the most popular Minecraft youtube content creators out there. However, right after he released his own line of merchandise which featured his hoodies with smiley faces on it, he has been criticized over it for being simple and some were saying that the design is plain and lazy. Knowing Dream, he was one of those faceless youtuber who of course, never shows their faces and instead, Dream has been wearing a simple mask with a smiley face drawn on to conceal what he looks like. Dream has recently released his new song with a title Mask and there he explained the reasons as to why he keeps wearing a mask and how it is linked to his mental health and fame.

Back in March, Dream released his merchandise but received a notable backlash because of how basic the design was as the hoodies featured nothing more than the drawn smile just like the mask that he has been wearing. Because of this, Dream further responded to the criticism as he explained, “I don’t mind most of my Merch being simple because people like it, and that’s my brand! My Youtube PFP is drawn in paint as well. Simplicity can be good sometimes.”

Now, after seemingly the drama about Dream’s merch has died down, fellow YouTuber Jschlatt has recently mocks Dream’s hoodie merch during one of his latest youtube videos. During Jschlatt’s youtube video, he was roasting the worst brand redesigns and he went on to joke that he was remaking his own plushie logo to be just basic shapes Then it showed Dream’s merch. When Dream’s merch was shown, JSchlatt mimicked Dream’s explanation as he stated; “This is my new merch, it’s simple, which means it’s good.”
