Jerma Went Viral After IRL Sims Stream

Twitch streamer that goes by the name Jerma985 has recently gone viral after bringing The Sims to life into an amazing IRL stream.

The game ‘The Sims’ is a series of life simulation video games developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. The games in the Sims series are largely sandbox games, in that they lack any defined goals. The player creates virtual people called “Sims,” places them in houses, and helps direct their moods and satisfy their desires. Players can either place their Sims in pre-constructed homes or build them themselves. Each successive expansion pack and game in the series augmented what the player could do with their Sims.

During a recent live broadcast, Twitch streamer that goes by the name Jerma985 has decided to bring the game into the real world as he recently did an IRL The Sims experience on his Twitch channel and his viewers were the one who were controlling him throughout the stream. Starting the IRL The Sims stream, there was a Create-a-Sim mode which saw the streamer try on a variety of clothes, hats, and accessories.

After this, Jerma then entered the IRL dollhouse, which appeared to be a combination of a real set and visual effects. For more than two hours of the stream, Twitch streamer Jerma did everything a Sim would do. It also includes a set of constantly changing needs like ‘Hunger’ and ‘Energy’, viewers could vote to fulfill them or leave him to suffer.

The stream went viral, and when the stream ended, Twitch streamer Jerma reminded viewers that there would be even more real-life Sims streams to come over the next few days, explaining that this was just the ‘tutorial’ of the IRL experience.
