JakeNBake And Terrifying Gun Prank

Popular IRL streamer JakeNBake was horrified when people started firing guns close while he was in Greece, only to find out later that it was all a complicated prank.

JakeNBake has been entertaining his Twitch audience with experiences all over the world for his 626k followers. Jake has, however, come close to danger on several times, and like other IRL streamers, he even managed to record it live in front of his horrified followers. They both gasped in horror as Jake’s pleasant trek through the Greek countryside’s rural highlands took a scary turn when he and his friend believed they were being shot at.

On August 13, at night, Jake and his companion were strolling through the Crete countryside. The two ducked for shelter as close gunshots were suddenly heard. The two argued about whether the gunman was intending to fire “bullet shots” into the sky. Jake, on the other hand, insisted: “No, that was a gunshot.”

As more gunshots rang out nearby, the two dashed across the field back to the adjacent town. However, when they returned to civilization, they were greeted by a group of smiling natives. They told him it was a joke played on him by some “friends” for “fun.” But he continued: “It’s not funny […] I’m from America and that makes it scary.”

Jake’s journey didn’t seem to be ruined by the incident, though, as earlier in the day, his host Andy had served him to a lovely supper and let him to meet some local puppies. Later, as he continued his world tour, he tweeted that the “moment in time” was one he would “remember forever.”
