Iron was formerly of the most well-known characters on Warzone; he was well-known for being one of the game’s most effective winners, forgoing glitched gameplay in favor of recurrent victory on the battlefield. Its Iron has nevertheless given an explanation for his 2-month absence from streaming.

While many of the top Warzone streams are renowned for their frantic, high-intensity gameplay, chasing high-kill wins, and trying to brute force their way through lobbies. Its Iron had a small variation. He was much more methodical, always weighing how to improve his chances of winning the match rather than constantly flying across the map and engaging in every gunfight imaginable.

Iron, however, stated on July 4 that he will be taking a one-week vacation from streaming “to be the dad [his daughter] needs.” After more than two months away (and far past the one-week mark), Iron restarted the stream early on Monday, September 5, to play some Warzone. He also gave his devoted followers an explanation of why he had been out for so long and why the break was necessary.

He told his viewers; “[There’s] not one reason. There’s quite a few reasons. Vacation, to start. Everyone got sick when they came back. Then I moved from two apartments to one, so now we’re all in the same place. The past couple weeks before I took the break, there was no inspiration, there was no ‘me’ in those streams, and I couldn’t stand it. I was getting so, so frustrated. So I just stepped away, because I couldn’t stand when I would watch it back and everything I was doing was uninspired.”

He continued by saying that he wished to spend more time with his loved ones and that, despite missing his viewers, he “couldn’t stand going through the motions” and “didn’t want to touch CoD.”

Iron appears to be content and eager to get back to work, despite the fact that he obviously had no intention of taking such a long break. It would be interesting to see whether Iron can get back to the top, especially with Warzone 2 drawing near. In 2021, Iron was the seventh most watched Warzone streamer on Twitch overall.
