Ironmouse Beats A Twitch Sub Record

During her continuing subathon stream, VTuber Ironmouse has hit a lofty Twitch channel milestone and smashed a key platform record on the same day.

Ironmouse reached one million Twitch followers eleven days into her subathon. Furthermore, the VShojo star’s live subscriber count surpassed 75,000 in just a few minutes. She is now the most subscribed female streamer in the history of the Amazon-owned site.

Ironmouse wrote on Twitter shortly after bowling down the record, “Words cannot express what I am feeling right now. I can’t stop crying. Thank you all for all your love and thank you for joining me on this crazy journey. Let’s have many more adventures together. Thank you for changing my life. I love you all so much. Thank you.”

Ironmouse’s subscriber count surpasses that of the previous record-holder, Kkatamina, who set the record in November 2021 during her own subathon. During the broadcast, she peaked at 73,623. The VTuber’s efforts also placed her 13th all-time on the site’s subscriber list, just after NICKMERCS.

Her subathon isn’t finished yet, so she could get even better with time. Currently, the top 10 on the all-time list is only a few thousand “precious family” members away.

The VTuber began broadcasting in 2017 and switched to Twitch as her primary platform in 2019. In the three years since, she has amassed a sizable following and established herself as one of the most popular VTubers on the platform. She is also the first English-language VTuber to reach one million subscribers on Amazon’s streaming service. Ironmouse’s subathon is uncapped, so it’s unclear how long she’ll be online. The countdown is currently set to 12 hours as of posting, with no signs of subscribers slowing down.

Each subscriber adds an additional 15 seconds to the clock, so there’s every potential Ironmouse surpasses Twitch’s top-ten all-time subbed channels before her stream is done.
