Improving The Dragon’s Breath Shotgun

Fortnite: Battle Royale recently released a new weapon named Dragon Breath’s Shotgun. It is considered to be underpowered. The popular twitch streamer Tyler Blevins aka Ninja had an idea on how to improve the shotgun and he shared it during one of his live broadcasts. Ninja recently returned to Fortnite season 4 and during one of his recent streams, he picked up the newest dragon’s breath shotgun and decided to give it a try.

While using the shotgun weapon, he saw problems that so many other players have also been complaining about. He realized that it is not an ideal gun for Solo play, and the long reload time makes it incredibly punishing to use, as he exclaimed during the stream; “What kind of a s*** gun is that, man? If you’re gonna make it have four bullets – but it all shoots in one – at least let me stop loading the gun at one, two, or three and make the damage fall off.”

The newest shotgun dragon’s breath is almost unusable in Solos and often requires you to carry a Tac alongside it just to follow-up your first shot. It’s clear that the Dragon’s Breath needs some work before players begin regularly carrying it in Fortnite matches.
