The Imbalance Team of Twitch Rivals Valorant Series 2

Popular Female Twitch Streamer Imane Anys AKA Pokimane called out Twitch for imbalance with Twitch Rivals Valorant Series 2 teams.

Pokimane doesn’t seem too happy with how things shook out at the Twitch Rivals Valorant Series 2 tournament. She argued prior to the event’s conclusion saying that the teams weren’t properly balanced.

The said tournament has a total of eight teams with five players each. Pokimane is with Team Sydeon, alongside with Blaustoise, Kentwood, and Myth. According to her, each team was supposed to have and include two “immortal” ranked players. However, other teams have three or four of the top ranked players and made it a lopsided event.

Pokimane said during one of her recent streams that she doesn’t understand how the teaming up got past the Twitch Rivals team and the Riot games team. She said that she felt like the teams are so imbalanced that it will result and make for a bad streamer and viewer experience. She also added that it made her sad because it was pitched as a fun, casual tournament.

She said that her team was properly balanced but complained about Bnans Team, Team Ploo, and Team itsHafu as “stacked”.

Bnans and Ploo’s team won the tournament and took home 1st and 3rd place respectively, while itsHafus’s team landed in seventh, diren\ctly behind Pokimane’s team, Team Sydeon. It’s hard to say whether it made the tournament a less enjoyable viewing experience or whether Immortal ranked players played a significant role in those results.

The team captain of Pokimane’s team, Sydeon took to Twitter that she was super underperformed and that she was also unhappy with how things shook out. Also according to her, she didn’t seem to express it and let it show but instead offered “good games” to her fellow competitors.

Pokimane replied to Sydeon thanking her for inviting her to join. Many said that hopefully, if streamers have another chance to compete again, perhaps this time with better balanced rivals.
