Twitch streaming star Michael Grzesiek popularly known as Shroud recently shared some tips to help small twitch streamers or beginners on how to make it big online and make their channel a success. Shroud has developed a strong following as a professional CSGO player and when he retired, he transitioned into full-time streaming and since then, he has risen into popularity even more. During one of his latest live broadcasts, he shared some advice and tips to help small streamers to make their channel successful online.

During the stream, Shroud and his friends were talking about the difficulties new streamers face and they further agreed that networking and luck played an important role. But then it seems like Shroud wasn’t convinced that grinding is enough anymore as he stated; “Now you have to go the extra mile to get noticed. You can’t just go live every day for eight hours and expect to get views. That won’t work. The only way that would work is if you expose yourself to a community that’s smaller. So, imagine you’re playing a game like Elder Scrolls Online. A game with probably not too many streamers and not too many viewers, but there’s a lot of players.”

What Shroud seems to believe is that when you manage to become well-known within a specific gaming community, it will increase your chances of making it big. There’s no denying that becoming a huge star on platforms such as Twitch or YouTube is extremely difficult. While some people are lucky enough to make a successful living streaming their favorite games, it takes a lot of commitment for newcomers to get themselves known.
