How Sodapoppin Kept OTK Announcement Secret

Sodapoppin, a well-known Twitch streamer, has joined OTK along with Mizkif, Asmongold, and others. He revealed how he was able to keep it a secret shortly after making the announcement.

One True King was founded in 2020 by Twitch streamers Mizkif, Asmongold, Rich Cambell, and others, and has since grown to rank among the most well-liked organizations there. Sodapoppin, who played the role of Ghostface in several in-character killings, joined the company as a co-owner, it was announced during a ghost hunting stream on July 21. Before he revealed it, discussion participants thought it was someone else. Sodapoppin has since described how he was able to keep it a secret.

Following the conclusion of the video, the program switched back to the group’s live stream, where they continued to discuss Sodapoppin’s joining the organization. 

Mizkif explained; “We’ve kind of had to keep it a secret from you guys for a while now. Wait a minute, is Russel still live?”

When asked how he managed to keep it a secret, Sodapoppin replied, “Oh yeah, so that was another thing we did. I told Russel to go stream on my computer on my alt account… it wasn’t me for the past like five hours.”

Russel had been streaming for the last five hours on Soda’s alternate account, “Skippypoppin,” but soon after Soda announced this, he turned on the camera and showed it was actually him. 

OTK has strengthened its position as the #1 org on Twitch by adding Sodapoppin as an official co-owner. Sodapoppin and Asmongold are two of the most well-known creators on the platform. We’ll have to wait and watch what transpires because we don’t know what they have up their collective next.
