Hasan’s Take On xQc Promoting Gambling

Hasan ‘Hasanabi’ Piker, a prominent streamer on Twitch, criticized Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel for “promoting crypto gambling” after xQc ranked Hasan fairly low on his list of top streamers.

When xQc published his official Twitch streamer tier list, ranking all of his well-known colleagues on the broadcasting site, he caused a stir in the streaming community. Hasan, who he ranked in the B tier, was one of the 50 influencers that the 26-year-old broadcaster ultimately ranked. Hasan revealed the reason he thinks he was placed so low because he, evidently, wasn’t too happy with his placement.

Despite placing Hasan fairly low on the tier list, xQc admitted during the broadcast that he “likes him a lot.” The French-Canadian gave him a B, but mostly because “he doesn’t play a lot of games, so it cuts his versatility a little bit,” according to the French-Canadian.

Hasan thought there was another explanation for why he wasn’t in the A or S tier. “xQc probably ranked be a B list streamer because I won’t f**king have him on when a trending political thing is happening where he has to act like he cares to farm the last ounce of the Twitch directory before he goes back to promoting crypto gambling to teens for multiple millions,” wrote Piker on his private backup Twitter account.

The 30-year-old streamer took a position against sponsored gambling streams in May when xQc resumed streaming slots. He has been outspoken in his opposition to such streams. Hasan contends that the reason for his poor rating goes much beyond just his lack of “versatility” as a broadcaster and that it is because he refused to let Lengyel watch his show.
