Hasan Stream Featured Grimes

The long-awaited collaboration between prominent Twitch streamer Hasan and international musician Grimes was finally happened on April 1 when Grimes and Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova made a brief cameo on his stream.

Since November 2021, when the musician was discovered reading The Communist Manifesto shortly after her divorce from tech mogul Elon Musk, the Twitch star has been trying to get Grimes on his stream. After a long hiatus, Grimes finally reacted to Hasan’s requests, yet fans were skeptical that this collaboration would actually happen. When Hasan announced a special guest on his April Fools stream, viewers were taken aback. 

Grimes and Nadya Tolokonnikova of the Russian feminist organization Pussy Riot emerged on stream around five hours into his broadcast, which is still available to watch in its entirety on Twitch. 

Despite the fact that the musicians didn’t spend much time on Hasan’s show, the anticipation for this collaboration was palpable. Hasan’s near-cancellation of his Los Angeles home and Porsche Taycan purchases, his strong body, and even a dig at Tesla, which is owned by Grimes’ ex-husband, Elon Musk, were all highlighted. Grimes apologized for her brief attendance on stream, claiming that she was exhausted. Despite the fact that the musician’s time on Hasan’s stream was brief, she promised that she would return. While fans may not know when it will happen, Hasan and viewers can finally mark this collaboration off their bucket list. 

Hasan has had a spate of noteworthy guests, including Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, band JPEGMafia, and a bevy of streamers and online stars, appear on his broadcast and visit him in person.
