Hasan Slams Viewer Who Accused Pokimane Of Blackface

Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker, a popular Twitch streamer, lost his cool after a viewer accused fellow streamer Pokimane of “blackface” after she flaunted her natural curls.

Pokimane started her stream on November 9 by showing off her natural curls. Her loyal fans were obviously unaware of her curls until she went public. Pokimane talked about how she used to straighten her hair before going to the stream. She was first “insecure” about it, but later decided to show off her curls. 

HasanAbi, one of Pokimane’s friends and colleagues, expressed his appreciation for the Moroccan-Canadian streamer. When a viewer attempted to tarnish her intentions with a silly reaction, the latter went berserk. HasanAbi, one of the most outspoken internet personalities right now, defended his colleague and dear friend Pokimane. 

He was monitoring the latter’s stream when he noticed the following comment in his chat that reads; “Why is Poki blackfacing?”

Because off this, Hasan was taken aback by the remark and quickly responded: “Are you f**king insane? That’s her natural hair, dude. What the f**k? Guys, she’s literally Moroccan. Are you f**king stupid? She’s literally from Africa, bro! That doesn’t mean she’s Black, but that is her natural f**king hair, you psycho! What a psychotic f**king take, dude!” 

Pokimane has yet to remark on the situation, however she did explain that she struggled with hair grooming as a child. 

Pokimane has received a lot of affection from the community despite the unfortunate situation. She had just been hanging out with HasanAbi at OfflineTV’s meet and greet when a security guard showered the Twitch broadcasters with love.
