Hacker of Titanfall DDoS Exposed

A popular Titanfall DDOS hacker has been exposed for racism issues.

Titanfall 2’s multiplayer servers were recently targeted and received a massive attack, and the suspected person appears to have gone on a racist rant in a Twitch conversation.

The Titanfall community has been going through a lot of struggles recently. Starting with the recent attack on July 5th, Apex Legends was hacked, redirecting gamers to a specific webpage with a slogan “Save Titanfall”. Developers Respawn Entertainment immediately issued a repair, removing the hacker’s work from the game.

Since Apex Legend became a major success for Respawn, Titanfall received little attention. The Apex attack was triggered by the reaction and backfired on them, and now Titanfall 2’s servers have been hacked as well.

On July 12th, a Titanfall 2 culprit rendered the game’s online modes inoperable, and Respawn said that it is working on a patch “1-2 guys”. Hearsay that the hacker seems to be named Jeanue, and they have lately found out that it has been in Twitch conversation using racist comments and blackmailing streamers to prevent them from playing the game.

Sway Louie, a Titanfall 2 player, released a video on Twitter on July 17th revealing his interaction with the hacker.

Sway is seen in the video watching a Twitch channel where the hacker is a moderator. The streamer has been whitelisted by Jeanue, allowing them to play online. “I can basically sum it up as a giant circle jerk, and a power trip for Jeanue,” Sway said of the discussion.

Sway claims that in order to avoid being banned by the hacker, they need to stop streaming and play Titanfall 2 offline. He became upset and jumped in the conversation when he noticed the hacker in the Twitch chat of the stream.

“Banana (the streamer) has a particular privilege,” Jeanue said in response to a question about the term. This is a privilege that only white people have.

Sway trusts Respawn’s capacity to patch the servers and restore the game’s health. Players on all platforms are still having trouble connecting to servers in order to play online.
