Gotaga Banned And Then Unbanned

Former Call of Duty pro player and Twitch Streamer Corentin Houssein AKA Gotaga was recently banned from the streaming platform Twitch last June 21st but he has been unbanned in just under 10hours.

Gotaga is one of France’s most recognizable content creators. He was banned recently for unknown reasons last June 21 and many suspect that it came as a result of DMCA strikes. This marks his only offense having never received a ban prior or a suspension.

However, early on June 22nd, Gotaga’s account was reinstated meaning that he has been suspended for just over nine hours. He quickly update his fans and followers and thanked them for the #FREEGOTAGA and said that without them, he is not sure if he would have been unbanned so quickly.

Many are wondering and asking why he was banned. Many pointed out and assumed that it is towards a likely DMCA strike knowing that his ban comes just days after warning that record labels will takedown the channel and that it would continue to skyrocket.
