Fran Calls Out Overwatch Devs

Fran is a popular Overwatch streamer on twitch. She has over 249k followers on her twitch channel where she streams a variety of games such as Pokemon, Overwatch and the just chatting content. She is also a full-time Overwatch streamer for Atlanta Reign. However, on her January 24th live broadcast while she was queuing up for a competitive game, she found herself unable to load in.

Her screen was just showing a big red message that read “error applying update.” Fran was confused about her situation and she then realized that she was banned for eight hours. It also happened recently on her January 28th stream when she ended up having to deal with the exact same bug even though she followed Blizzard’s instructions of how to fix it. Because of this, she got frustrated and exclaimed; “This happened last week! Oh my God! They told me to repair my files and it won’t happen again. It doesn’t matter how many accounts I have, if this is going to happen, I’m going to get banned on all my accounts!”

When she was able to load in the game, she learned that she had lost even more SR. She went on to check on how long she would be banned from the game and she was completely shocked that she was banned for twenty hours, losing 200 SR away total. Fran went on to twitter to call out Blizzard and the devs. She tweeted out the clip of her being banned as she stated; “legit down -200 SR and banned for 20 hours due to an error on blizzard’s end, ridiculous @PlayOverwatch”.
