Fedmyster’s Shock Return to Twitch

Federico “Fedmyster” Gaytan, a former member of OfflineTV, made an unexpected return to Twitch on July 6—more than a year after his previous effort in June 2021, which resulted in the disgraced streamer’s only ever one-off stream.

Fedmyster, 26, has been shunned ever since he was kicked out of the OfflineTV home in 2020 after charges of sexual harassment. He received criticism for his initial attempt at a comeback, so he made the decision to spend additional time away from the spotlight. He stated of the insults, “It got to a point where I couldn’t take it anymore. Am I supposed to just stream and not read chat?” I just didn’t use the internet for a whole year.”

Naturally, fans wanted to know what he felt about all the controversy in the past, so they had to question him about it. Fedmyster insisted he didn’t want to talk about it again, but he did before moving on.

During his stream on July 6, he exclaimed, “That sh*t is done with. I’m over it. I’m sure everyone else is over it. No one cares. I haven’t made up with anyone, but I wish them the best. We were family at one point… [but] we don’t talk anymore.”

At the conclusion of his stream, Fedmyster stated he was trying to change for the better, that he had admitted his wrongdoings, and that his goals had never been malicious. None of the current OfflineTV members, not even Pokimane, who played a major role in the drama and the subsequent controversy, have commented on his return. The OfflineTV group probably won’t feel the need to remark.

Fedmyster acknowledged he is unsure if he will stream again at the conclusion of his July comeback. He intends to work on music projects instead, but he didn’t completely rule it out.
