FaZe Rain’s Road to Recovery

Fans of Nordan ‘Rain’ Shat, one of FaZe Clan’s top stars, are overjoyed because the YouTuber has been seen walking for the first time in months after being wheelchair-bound due to serious drug misuse.

Fans have seen a new and scary side of FaZe Rain in recent years, as he has faced a variety of challenges ranging from mental health issues to drug misuse. Rain’s drug habit overflowed onto his social media, and followers soon realized something was wrong with the former CoD YouTuber.

He was forced out of the FaZe house in May 2020 and has had a tumultuous time since, finally admitting that he had made a mistake and disclosing that his drug use has left him paralyzed.

Today that the star has returned to creating content, here’s what occurred and what he’s up to now, and how he’s on his way back to the top.

Throughout the summer of 2020, FaZe Rain was quite active on Instagram, which scared fans and even encouraged fellow FaZe Clan members Teeqo and Nikan to interfere. He was using numerous substances during an unnerving Instagram Live appearance, with his FaZe cohorts implying that he was “promoting” them to his younger fans. Rain then announced his intentions to get clean, with infrequent but optimistic posts that provided a bit more hope for fans.

Rain has officially returned to YouTube and Twitch as of March 2021. He posted a new video to his YouTube page on March 12th describing what had happened to him and admitting that he was wheelchair-bound. He swears never to return to that state in the video, but also claims he’s working with the greatest doctors to get back on his feet. He was in immense pain and couldn’t put his weight on his legs, but that appears to be on the mend now.

He has been streaming on Twitch on a regular basis, primarily playing Warzone and some GTA RP with other members of the FaZe Clan. Rain explained during his comeback stream that he wasn’t a drug addict and that he could easily keep off them, but that he was addicted to ding,” and that drugs were his idea of the best way to do so.

He repeatedly describes his deteriorating mental state, even claiming that he can’t recall approximately three months of his drug consumption at its peak.

Rain highlighted how intense the agony was at its worst in a YouTube video posted on March 28th, saying that it hasn’t gone away completely. He also talked about his difficult time in the hospital, offering viewers a new perspective on his struggle. Fans reacted positively to the video, expressing how much the creator has inspired them and wishing him luck in the future.

Then Rain uploaded a video to Instagram on Sunday, September 26th, showing him walking around practically as good as new after months of being unable to walk alone or without the use of a wheelchair. Rain received an outpouring of support in response to the video, particularly from his fellow FaZe Clan members. He appears to be on the rise, and it will be intriguing to watch where he goes next.
