Faze Clan Sues Fortnite Star Tfue, Claims He Earned More Than Twenty Million Dollars From Streaming

Turner Tenny, aka Tfue, is one of the most popular Fortnite streamers on Twitch. Way back in May 2019, he filed a lawsuit against a popular Esports organization, FaZe Clan. He sued to void his contract with FaZe Clan for explaining that their contract was exploitive and illegal.

FaZe Clan fired back with a countersuit, filed with the Southern District of New York three months later. They stated that Tfue, has been earning more than 20 million dollars from streaming, gaming sponsorships and that he never shared any of his income earnings to FaZe Clan. Additionally, FaZe Clan’s countersuit states that Tfue’s goal is to build a rival Esports organization to FaZe Clan, utilizing what he learned from the FaZe Clan’s organization.

The FaZe clan organization is asking for compensation for their services provided and for damages under the terms of their contract. Also, they are seeking for a reassurance to prevent Tfue, from revealing any supposedly confidential information, disparaging the company publicly, and potentially interfering with its current roster of talent or any future business deals. Tfue’s lawsuit has caused serious damage that may have affected the other members of FaZe Clan.
