Fans Roast Valkyrae Over RFLCT Scam as Pokimane Announced RTS

Pokimane announced the debut of her latest venture, RTS, a talent management company dedicated to “fixing the esports and gaming industry,” on Twitter recently. The company’s goal is to assist aspiring streamers by advising them on potential commercial partnerships they may pursue.

Pokimane made the remark just a few days after Valkyrae’s RFLCT skincare product, which claimed to protect skin from blue light, was called a hoax. Naturally, there would be similarities between the two.

Valkyrae made it apparent in her livestream about the RFLCT dispute that she had no idea how the website would look. Naturally, jokes began to circulate about Valkyrae being Pokimane’s RTS’s first client.

Valkyrae’s RFLCT dispute appears to have resulted from an obvious mistake in judgment on the side of the streamer. Pokimane’s RTS statement, which suggests that the group assists developers in avoiding harmful branding deals just days after Valkyrae’s incident, appears to be too good to be true. Pokimane’s supporters have called her a “ruthless businesswoman” because of the seeming coincidence.

Many individuals feel Pokimane’s announcement of RTS just days after Valkyrae’s RFLCT controversy is no coincidence. People believe Pokimane saw an opening and took advantage of it, especially since the subject of bad brand deals is still fresh in people’s minds. Naturally, positioning her company as a solution to the problem would garner a lot of good feedback from the community.
