Fans Criticize xQc Content

Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, in reaction to fan criticism of his content, asserts that everyone who watches Twitch is “addicted to garbage” and that if that weren’t the case, he’d have zero viewers.

xQc has had his fair share of detractors throughout the years. They’ve pursued him for a variety of reasons, including the nature of his content, especially once he began conducting more reaction streams. It happened again on a recent webcast, when a viewer expressed their unhappiness with xQc watching ‘recap’ videos live. However, the French-Canadian star retaliated by alleging that everyone on Twitch is “addicted to garbage” in some way.

He said chastising the unhappy viewer for being hypocritical; “You say you hate recaps, but you cannot keep your eyes off of them. Every time we’ve watched recaps, you’re in chat and you’re watching. We’re all addicted to garbage. People say you can get addicted to this, addicted to that. You can get addicted to alcohol or addicted to gambling. Dude, we’re all addicted to dogsh*t content.”

xQc also claimed that his stream’s success is solely due to this circumstance. As a result, he thinks it’s fair game. He said “If people weren’t addicted to dogsh*t content, nobody would watch this stream, ever. I would literally have zero viewers.”

xQc does a lot more than watch videos on live as the platform’s largest variety streamer. He spends a lot of time playing video games, connecting with fans, and even attending community events. He also began doing sponsored gambling streams again in May 2022, which have been criticized. He, on the other hand, claims that no one should hold him up as a role model and has been honest about his losses.
