Summit1g Says That Escape From Tarkov Is Full Of Cheaters

Jaryd Russell Lazar aka summit1g is a popular Twitch streamer and a retired competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. He formerly played for the professional esports teams A51 and Mythic. He recently played the game Escape from Tarkov into his stream. Escape from Tarkov is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game in development by Battlestate Games for Windows. Players join matches in which they fight other players for loot and aim to survive and escape; dying results in the loss of almost all items the player used and found during that game.

It was first released back in 2017 and since then, it has risen in popularity among players and streamers. Recently during one of summit1g’s live broadcasts, he spoke about some issues he has with the game. It seems like Summit1g was having a rough time with the apparent de-sync issues with the game’s netcode and getting one-tapped repeatedly by cheaters in the game as he went on to express his frustration on things including the hacker problems.

As he stated during the stream; “I don’t even think that guy was cheating. I think their servers in this game fing suck and the netcode in this game fing sucks, and that just doesn’t allow you to hold corners as much because people just swing around them and you probably see them on your screen for a 1/10 of a second when they’re probably full swinging and seeing you on their screen for a full f***ing second.”
