Emote of Pokimane

Popular Moroccan-Canadian Twitch Streamer Imane Anys AKA Pokimane could be included in an Icon series skin in Fortnite. In order for Battle Royale’s acknowledgement of Pokimane’s contribution to Fortnite’s popularity, the developer of the game released a Pokimane Dance emote.

The emote of Pokimane was originally released on January 20th, 2020 but it was removed and then re-released again on April 8th, 2021. The emote cost 500 V-bucks until April 10th.

The sudden re-released of Pokimane’s emote made her fans wonder if it could be a hint towards Pokimane icon series skin.

Icon Series skin is an in-game version of content creators who have been influential in Fortnite. Many content creators have now been part of the Icon Series such as Ninja, Lazarbeam and Loserfruit.

Concept artist, D3NNI teased the idea of Pokimane being part of the Icon series and posted a concept of Pokimane skin featuring her iconic headset.

Pokimane saw the tweet and took a liking to the concept art and jokingly dared Fortnite to actually do a skin of her. Seeing Pokimane’s skin in Fortnite will surely be loved by many users because Pokimane is one of the content creators who continuously streamed and made content about Fortnite.

The Pokimane X Fortnite collaboration may happen soon in the future.
