Dream Offered Potential Minecraft Collab

On Twitter, Alec Benjamin reacted to Minecraft’s star Dream hinting at a potential Minecraft collab on stream soon. Alec Shane Benjamin is an American singer-songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona. His 2018 breakthrough single “Let Me Down Slowly” reached the top 40 in over 25 countries and it has amassed over 680 million streams as of October 2020.

On his twitter thread, Alec reached out and contacted Dream as he wrote; “Hey Dream, I just heard you singing my song Jesus in LA. You sounded great! I just started playing video games. Can we game together?”, tagging Dream on his tweet. Shortly after, Dream responded and it seems like he was all for it. Dream also complimented Alec regarding his music. As Dream wrote; “Hell yeah. Love your music. Incredibly talented.” Alec further responded again stating; “You’re the best! dm you my number! Think I’m about to get serious about Minecraft.”

It looks like a collaboration between them is in the cards, and their fans can’t wait. Many fans have poured into the comments section to express their excitement with one user who wrote; “This is an incredible crossover, currently freaking out”. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait long to see them play some Minecraft together. It would be an absolute treat.
