Dream Defended by Asmongold

Popular World of Warcraft twitch streamer and OTK member Asmongold defended the minecraft streamer Dream after he admits that he cheated on his minecraft speedruns and apologizes for his action. Back in the year 2020, Minecraft youtube content creator Dream was accused of cheating into his Minecraft speed runs but he further denied these allegations. Now on May 29th, Dream posted a twitlonger post that he is finally admitted to having cheats enabled for his minecraft speedruns. He apologized for his wrong actions and apologized for dragging the speedrun website’s moderators through the mud. Because of this, Dream has now been receiving a lot of criticism online but it turns out others have also defended him including the Twitch streamer and OTK member Asmongold.

Asmongold expressed sympathy for Dream stating that Dream only acted as anyone else would if they had people try to expose him because he is a human and anyone else who was under so much pressure would have done the same thing. On Twitter, Slasher tweeted out summarizing Dream’s incident in which Asmongold replied stating; “I mean after reading the apology, he admitted fault in a half dozen different ways and that the run was illegitimate. Even though he did kinda play victim, he probably had millions of people trying to “expose” him or talk shit about him. I think that would fuck with anyone’s head”.

Asmongold further added that anyone who was being “pushed” like Dream was would have gone into defense mode anyway. For the meantime, Dream hasn’t uploaded a speedrun since the drama kicked off, but he has been active in the Minecraft community still and taking part in his own DreamSMP server and the Minecraft Championship.
