Dream Calls Out His Fans

Earlier in September 19th, one of the most popular Minecraft Youtuber Dream has uploaded a tweet calling out some of those fans who are twisting his words when it comes to his opinions on the Minecraft Championships.

The Minecraft Championships (MCC) is an invite-only event held on by the Noxcrew. It features ten four-person teams competing in eight different minigames chosen by the competitors with the recent event taking place on September 18th.

For the popular faceless youtuber Dream, this championship was a one-off event in and of itself. Dream and his team had won the previous two events, but finished seventh this time, competing against Team Cyan Coyotes.  However, when it came to his opinions on how to potentially improve the Minecraft Championships, he took to social media to address extremism in the community.

The satirical tweet contrasts his actual thoughts and opinions with how extremists and haters interpret and twist his remarks stating; “Me: I don’t like building mart and think it needs an update or revamp, most of my friends feel the same! I hope to see changes because it hurts the vibe. Half of Twitter: WHY IS BUILD MART EVEN IN F**K MCC F**K EVERYTHING. Other Half Of Twitter: WHY IS DREAM SUCH A BABY F**K DREAM.”

His tweet has gained a lot of reactions online. Many fans and his friends including tubbo, SapNap, Krtzyy, Quig, and Spifey have all all replied to the tweet in support of their friend and fellow content creator.

Although a handful of fans are the ones being criticized for their extremism towards a public figure’s opinions, the vast majority have been understanding and supportive of Dream calling out this type of behavior.
