Dr Disrespect to be Banned From World Series of Warzone Tournament

It seems like the popular youtube personality Dr Disrespect will be banned from the $300K World Series of Warzone tournament. Dr Disrespect’s feud with Twitch is widely regarded as one of Twitch’s greatest controversies and the true reason behind his ban remains one of the internet’s best kept secrets. His ban came as a major shock given the fact that he was one of Twitch’s best streamers. However, after his permanent ban, Dr Disrespect has found a new home in YouTube after some time away and managed to keep himself in the streaming industry.

Dr Disrespect hasn’t been winning many Warzone tournaments, but it’s a spectacle when he participates and fans have loved his involvement. But then with Warzone being such a popular category on Twitch, it seems like Dr Disrespect’s history has prevented him from getting much air time during the biggest events. Warzone has recently announced that they were getting its biggest event series of all time and it was the World Series of Warzone, which has a $1.2 million prize pool and puts 150 streamers, pro players, and content creators in private lobbies.

However, it looks like Dr disrespect will be prevented from participating in the said tournament. His ties with Twitch prevent him from appearing in any content on the Amazon-owned streaming platform nor he can appear on any streams which makes it impossible for him to participate as Twitch Rivals have partnered with WSOW and the rulebook allows players to stream the games exclusively on nowhere but Twitch. So, it looks like there is no apparent way Dr Disrespect will be able to make his way in the tournament and for twitch to allow him for the event.
