Dr Disrespect on Twitch

Youtube streamer Dr Disrespect recently appeared on a Twitch stream when an ad for Mountain Dew Game Fuel was aired during a BoomTV Twitch stream by mistake. It’s been almost a year since Twitch permanently banned one of its most popular creators, Dr Disrespect.

Since then, fans have not seen him in a Twitch clip because of the twitch rule that a streamer on twitch is not allowed to stream together with a banned streamer as they are also getting banned on the platform if they do so, and now Dr disrespect streams on their rival platform, YouTube. However, Dr disrespect accidentally returned to Twitch for a few seconds in the most bizarre way possible. During a recent Code Red Warzone event,Dr Disrespect shockingly appeared on the Twitch stream as a commercial aired for Mountain Dew Game Fuel.

That’s not surprising since Mountain Dew is the event’s sponsor, but the commercial prominently featured Dr Disrespect and viewers immediately took notice of the unintentional cameo in the chat as they typed excitedly; “Doc is back!”

The spokesperson for BoomTV stated that; “It was an honest mistake. We proactively reached out to Twitch to inform them about the mistake.” It remains to be seen if Twitch will punish them with suspensions or give a warning. But after missing a year from the popular platform, it was nice for fans to see their favorite streamer for a few seconds, even if it was because of a mistake.
