Dr Disrespect Not Returning

Dr Disrespect is well-known in the online streaming community for a variety of reasons, the most notable of which is his mysterious ban from Twitch. Outside of a few hot takes and rage-quits since his shift to YouTube, Dr Disrespect has stayed out of big issues, but what transpired between him and Twitch is still a hot topic of discussion. This culminated with Dr Disrespect threatening to sue, an issue that has already been resolved. To cut a long tale short, Dr Disrespect isn’t coming back to Twitch.

Following Thursday morning’s strange remark announcing the closure of the existing legal battle with Twitch, Dr Disrespect has posted a second post. It’s claimed to be in answer to Twitter users’ questions.

Dr Disrespect will not return to Twitch, according to this brief and basic post. This is one of the long-awaited endings for fans, at least for this chapter of Dr Disrespect’s tumultuous past. Dr. Disrespect will not be streaming on Twitch. He may not stay with YouTube indefinitely, but he will not return to where he began his streaming career.

Despite the fact that Dr Disrespect has been a YouTube hit for quite some time, there has always been a contingent of supporters anticipating he would return to Twitch. Twitch is still the most popular streaming platform online, with a loyal following of Twitch users that refuse to switch.

Regardless of the drama surrounding his departure, they wanted Dr. Disrespect back. Fans will be disappointed by today’s announcement, however Dr Disrespect is still available to watch on YouTube.

While this chapter of the Dr Disrespect tale is complete, it does not provide an answer to the long-standing question that has been plaguing fans. It doesn’t explain why Dr Disrespect was banned in the first place. Twitch is aware of the reason. Dr. Disrespect is well aware of the reason. However, due to a legally binding agreement between the two parties, it is now possible that the secret will never be revealed. 

On Thursday, Dr Disrespect sent two statements on Twitter about his ongoing legal battle with Twitch. For those who missed the news, the first Dr Disrespect message began with a short message that said, “Moving on,” which was accompanied by a strange visual to say the least. It’s a printed declaration that reads, “I have resolved my legal dispute with Twitch. No party admits to any wrongdoing.” Dr Disrespect’s logo and in-character signature are also on the card. The printed message has a pen resting on it. Everything is really theatrical.

While fans will undoubtedly continue to bring up the possibility of Dr Disrespect coming to Twitch, this is a definitive end to the matter.
