Dr Disrespect Might Return To Twitch

American YouTuber Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV AKA Dr DisRespect was banned py Twitch last year on June 26th. The reason behind his ban is still unknown as of now. He is just one of many content creators who have been suspended by Twitch with no proper justifications.

One streamer James Varga AKA Phantoml0rd was also banned way back in 2016 due to allegedly having financial relations with an in-game skin gambling website. Unlike any other banned content creator, he opposed his ban and filed a lawsuit against the streaming platform. Fortunately, he won the case and the streaming platform Twitch admitted its misinterpretation toward Phantoml0rd’s offenses.

As per Dr DisRespect, the streaming platform Twitch still hasn’t given him and everyone a proper reason for his ban but thanks to Phantoml0rd and his team, this narrative might change soon.

Last May, a jury in San Francisco claimed that Twitch had acted unfairly with Phantoml0rd and now the latter is looking forward to bringing a massive change in Twitch’s disciplinary practices that violates California’s Unfair Competition Law.

Phantoml0rd’s recent tweet informed his fans about his demands from Twitch. Long story short, he and his team want Twitch to review its policy regarding their bans and that Twitch must give adequate reasons to any content creators and streamers that it bans. Also avoid indefinite or permanent suspensions under the reason of “Other Terms of Service Violation”.

If the streaming platform Twitch incorporates the said changes in its policy, then Dr Disrespect’s suspicious ban could soon get an answer. Moreover, he could also use the platform and tread a similar action if Phantoml0rd.

Dr Disrespect was one of the fastest growing streamers on Twitch back in 2020. He even won an award of Steamer Of the Year and was on his way to become the platform’s biggest name but since he was banned, it became a huge setback for him saying that he suffered financially and also opened up about his struggles with anxiety. He is now streaming on YouTube but the majority of his fans still want him to return to Twitch.

If he filed a case against Twitch and won the latsuit, this could be a game-changing for him and this could be the result for him to return to the streaming platform’s streaming service yet again and get more popular.
