Dr Disrespect Discusses YouTube Gaming

Dr Disrespect, a streaming giant, has spoken out against YouTube Gaming. The Doc stated in a furious tweet that he had “unfollowed” the site because of a lack of credit for his work.

Dr Disrespect has never explained why he got banned from Twitch in June 2020. Despite this, he didn’t let the turmoil deter him from pursuing his streaming career on YouTube. Dr Disrespect has firmly established himself as one of YouTube’s top creators, with 3.9 million subscribers on the Google-owned platform. The Doc has now retaliated against YouTube Gaming. The Two-Time said that he “unfollowed” YouTube due to a lack of appreciation from the platform for himself and his fellow creators.

Dr Disrespect previously chastised YouTube Gaming in March 2022 for allegedly failing to support and recognize his work. Despite the fact that he claimed to have “put the platform on the map.”

The Doc brought up the subject again in an angry tweet on May 2nd, in which he blasted the platform for failing to provide not only him, but also his fellow YouTubers with any public acknowledgment. Doc claimed; “I had to unfollow YouTube Gaming. They don’t support us one bit. Why would I support them, Such a phony industry I’m in.”

Dr. Disrespect’s tweet was not prompted by anything in particular. Fans pointed out that his remark came after Twitch streamer Sykkuno announced his departure for YouTube. Several of the Doc’s fans echoed his sentiments, urging YouTube to back him up. One fan claimed that YouTube should be “fighting for” both creators and the viewers who bring in the views. Despite not having an official contract with YouTube, Dr Disrespect has developed a great career on the platform. Fans allege he hasn’t been officially recognized by YouTube since July 2021, indicating he is becoming increasingly upset with the company.
