Dr Disrespect Announces Full Album

After releasing a new tune during his most recent YouTube stream, internet phenomenon Dr Disrespect gently hinted that he has a full-length album on the way.

No one can disagree that Dr Disrespect takes the worth of his work seriously, whether you’re a loyal member of the Champions Club or a casual viewer. Few do it better than the famed YouTube streamer, from immersive scenery around his ‘Arena’ to unique transitions that complement the game in focus. On occasion, the Doc’s on-the-go search of invention has led to him making his own music. His original tracks have received millions of plays in recent years, from his smash ‘Gillette’ to ‘Alleyways’ and ‘Red Skies.’ 

Dr Disrespect appears to be working on a full-length record in order to capitalize on his recent popularity. While it’s still early days, the two-time novelist revealed some early insights during his most recent show. 

Doc debuted an unfinished tune in the middle of his February 17 stream just a few weeks ago. While this particular track is still a “work in progress,” he performed an updated version for those who tuned in live on March 30. Someone on the other end of Doc’s flip phone call inquired; “You’ve got a new copy? It’s still rough? You want me to play it right now, if the song’s not complete, we haven’t even done the harmonies yet?”

He couldn’t help himself, and the entire music was quickly played out. The following track looks to be a collaboration with a producer named Volkor X, featuring Doc’s vocals over a remix of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar’s Main Theme. 

Dr Disrespect teased a much bigger project in the works shortly after premiering this new tune. He explained, “Champs, I’ve got a busy life. Between the album, the bourbon, the soon-to-be $100M+ gaming studio, the animation show, I’ve got a lot going on.” 

Long the bourbon has been known for a while, Midnight Society is already planning its first game, and Doc’s TV show has been in the works since 2019, the album tease appears to be entirely new. 

Given that it is still early days, it is impossible to predict when the album will be released or how many original songs will be included. We’ll have to wait and see what else Doc has planned, but we can expect plenty more early snippets on stream in the coming weeks and months.
