Doaenel’s Twitch Partner Denied

Doaenel, a Twitch streamer, has yet to hear back on his appeal following his indefinite suspension from the platform, but he has been informed that he has been rejected for the 14th time.

The League of Legends streamer “Doaenel” was banned from Twitch indefinitely on February 6 for having an “inappropriate username.” The popular streamer, who had between 1k and 2k viewers per stream, took to Twitter to criticize the platform, explaining that he had been known as “Doaenel” since he was 16 years old.

Doaenel filed an appeal against his indefinite suspension, but has yet to get a response. Instead, he received notification that his Partner application had been denied for the fourteenth time.

Doaenel said in a tweet on February 11th that he was pleased to get an email from Twitch in his inbox, but that it immediately let him down, as it was only a notification that he had been refused for Partnership. The streamer said; “Opened my email, and got super excited to see an email from Twitch. It wasn’t a response to my ban appeal though, it turns out it was just them denying my 14th partner application. How much more can one man take?”

Doaenel has recently explained the origins of his online identity, stating that his “real Angel name” is made up of letters from his first, middle, and last names.

Twitch will consider granting a streamer’s Partner application if they meet certain criteria, such as achieving the Path to Partner milestone or having a “large, engaged viewership/following on other services.” On the platform, becoming a Partnered streamer comes with privileges including monetization, channel customization, and more VOD storage.
