Disguised Toast’s Future

Disguised Toast’s Future

The mysterious Twitch star Disguised Toast feels like he has “lost his mojo” and is unable to understand what his fans want anymore. This sensation has only gotten worse following a three-week break.

In one of his first streams after his break in Japan, Toast told his streaming audience, “I can’t figure out how to do content anymore.”

The Twitch streamer said that some activities come easy to him, such as playing Among Us, but the meta surrounding Innersloth’s betrayal-focused game is long gone. Toast did have a ton of popularity with his anime streaming, which he said was done to “shine a spotlight” on Twitch restrictions, but that too has passed. The 30-year-old has been struggling with it recently.

He said; “I’m sure there’s content somewhere… You know why [it’s hard]? Because it’s been three weeks since I did content and I forgot how to do it. Especially IRL streams. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve lost my mojo! Sometimes I’m just sitting there wondering why people are watching my content. It’s so weird. Like, why would you watch a guy eat Disneyland snacks? Why did one million people watch me eat Disneyland snacks?”

The Twitch celebrity is, of course, making reference to a famous stream from November 2021 during which he visited the venerable amusement park and, in true muckbang fashion, sampled the food options. With just over 1,620,000 views, the 12-minute highlight video immediately rose to the top of Disguised Toast’s most watched YouTube uploads ever despite being a straightforward feed. The video demonstrated something Toast appears to be forgetting: the co-founder of OfflineTV has meticulously cultivated a fanbase that is eager to be his supporter.

He alone has 2,640,304 devoted fans on Twitch. A comparable following base watches his videos on YouTube as well; he has 3.72 million subscribers on the Google-owned platform and has only had four films on his main “Toast” profile fail to reach a million views in the last twenty uploads. Additionally, he is quickly approaching 100,000,000 channel views on Twitch.

The 30-year-old made no mention of taking another sabbatical from Twitch in the near future, and Dot Esports does not anticipate that he will respond in that way.

Toast ultimately said, “I know I’m just getting in my own head. I always do this every now and then. I try and think about why people watch me and I try to play into that. Among Us is easy [for that]. When it comes to IRL content, I wonder why people are watching me. It’s throwing me off right now.”

After OfflineTV’s three-week journey, during which he claimed he stayed in Japan, Toast’s first feed hit a 15.2k broadcast peak in just two hours and changed live.
