Disguised Toast Planning Apex Legends Event

Twitch streamer Disguised Toast is planning a massive $100k Apex Legends event, but instead of a traditional battle royale format, he’s turning it into a large game of hide and seek.

Apex Legends players are always looking for fresh vantage positions and hiding areas, whether it’s in Kings Canyon, Olympus, Worlds Edge, or even the new Storm Point. While exploring these locales is interesting, they’re usually only beneficial in select situations, such as the later phases of a match or as a way to get away from an enemy squad.

Disguised Toast wants to change that by making them the center of attention at a unique event. He’s asking other popular streamers on Twitter if they want to compete in a $100k Apex Legends hide and seek competition. Typically, a prize pool Apex Legends event matches highly experienced pros or streamers against each other to see which squad is the best at the battle royale mode.

Disguised Toast has opted to break the tradition by substituting a game of hide-and-seek for the gunskill. Toast asked on Twitter on November 28 whether any streamers were interested in participating in the hide-and-seek event. Toast’s post has sparked a lot of enthusiasm and replies from large Twitch personalities, despite the fact that he hasn’t revealed any precise facts. Twitch streamers such as Sweet Anita, Nokokopuffs, minx, Snip3down, and even Sykkuno all responded, expressing interest in participating.

With so many streams eager to participate, there will undoubtedly be some competition for the most well-known hiding areas; let’s just hope no one chooses Storm Point’s invisible room.

For the time being, all that remains is to wait for Toast to provide more information about the event and the particular rules that will regulate the game of hide and seek. With a prize pool of $100,000 on the line, you can bet Pathfinder, Horizon, and Valkyrie will be popular choices for streamers seeking for the best hiding position.

Toast has posted a tweet with a graphic showing the 16 teams competing in the tournament as of December 2, 2021. DrLupo, Valkyrae, kkatamina, and Pokimane are among the biggest personalities in the streaming scene that will be present at the event.
