Disguised Toast And Twitch Recap Snub

Disguised Toast of Offline TV has criticized Ludwig’s lack of respect after the now-YouTube star was left out of his biggest fans’ Twitch Recaps.

Twitch streamers and fans alike began receiving their Twitch Recaps on December 15, with viewers being able to see which streamer and category they tuned into the most in 2021. However, one thing became evident when the community shared their Twitch Recaps: streamers who had moved to other platforms, such as Ludwig and TimTheTatman, were nowhere to be found.

Ludwig expressed his disappointment with his omission from the Twitch Recap, stating he was “bummed” to have been left out of the end-of-year feature — and other streamers are defending him as well.

Ludwig rose to prominence on Twitch before moving to YouTube, staring at the time that he didn’t feel loved by the platform, which supposedly didn’t fight to keep him.

Disguised Toast was plainly disappointed as well that prominent streaming names like Ludwig were left out, tweeting about it shortly after Ludwig spoke out. He explained; “Ludwig pushed the boundaries of content on Twitch for all of 2021. Even though he’s not there anymore, I think he deserved the respect of being in the Twitch Recap.”

Toast expresses his sympathy for Ludwig, telling him to “keep your head up, content king,” in the wake of the Twitch rejection, with hundreds of tweets expressing a similar sentiment.

Twitch streamer Peter Park expressed his dissatisfaction with the omission, but expressed optimism that it was an error rather than an “intentional” move.

Twitch hasn’t responded to the situation, and many fans’ Twitch Recaps include non-partnered streamers, so it’s difficult to say why streamers like Ludwig and TimTheTatman were left off.

Many of Ludwig’s followers and peers, on the other hand, are just as dissatisfied as he is.
