Did Lando Norris Apologize?

Lando Norris is a popular racing driver at McLaren F1 and also a Twitch streamer. He has been quite controversial lately because of his comments towards his fellow drivers. Twitch streamer Lando Norris is a Belgian-British racing driver currently competing in Formula One with McLaren, racing under the British flag. Recently he was forced to shut down a Twitch stream by F1 officials during the 2020 Eiffel GP. Streamer Lando recently made a comment towards his fellow driver Michael Schumacher about his previous record and it seems that Lando wasn’t that impressed with the driver.

He stated; “I’m just happy for him, nothing more. It doesn’t mean anything to me, really. He’s in a car which should win every race, basically, He has to beat one or two other drivers, that’s it. Fair play to him, he’s still doing the job he has to do”. It was not the first time that he made a comment towards other drivers. He also took aim at Lance Stroll saying that he will have to avoid Lance because he crashes a lot during competitions. Due to his attitude, fans of F1 have been bashing him in the comments.

Lando Norris tweeted out an apology to all the F1 fans that were hurt by his statements. He posted; “I owe an apology. I’ve been stupid and careless with some things that I’ve said lately in media and interviews, and haven’t shown the respect I should have to certain people. I’m not that kind of person. I should apologise to them but also to everyone reading/listening. Sorry”.
