Cowsep Loses Partner Status

Joseph Hursey aka Cowsep is a League of Legends and Twitch streamer. Cowsep is one of the most popular one-trick Yi mains in the League. He’s popularized various meta builds, including the summoner spell combination of smite and teleport. He plays on the Korean server, mastering Yi’s Alpha Strike in the process. The Korean server is one of the most toxic servers in League with players running it down or insulting their teammates for every small mistake, so it makes sense that some people don’t want that kind of behavior to take up too much of their day.

He was recently banned from the platform and according to Cowsep the ban was DMCA related. Streamban’s official Twitter account also announced Cowsep’s ban stating that Cowsep is no longer partnered on Twitch. Some were assuming that his ban was related to his move into Facebook gaming which is the rival platform of Twitch.

The suspicion is because multiple streamers have previously been banned after they decided to multi-stream on Facebook and Twitch. Cowsep cleared all the rumours announcing on his Twitter account that it was due to receiving a DMCA strike, as he posted out; “Just got banned on Twitch for DMCA even though I deleted all my clips and VODs lol. ???????????????????????????????????????? WHY AM I GETTING BANNED ON EVERYTHING”.
