CouRage And Trainwrecks’ Subathon Donations

Several top streamers raided and donated thousands of dollars to a World of Warcraft streamer who was celebrating her 80th birthday by organizing an uncapped Twitch subathon.

Subathons have grown extremely popular among Twitch streamers, especially after Ludwig became one of the platform’s most well-known personalities after his.

WowGrandma78, who is 80 years old, defied preconceptions by turning her birthday stream into a subathon — but she couldn’t have predicted how crazy things would go. WowGrandma may have expected some support and birthday wishes from her 55k followers, but then the massive streamers and ridiculous donations began to roll in. YouTube’s Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop was one of the first large streamers to gain wind of WowGrandma’s stream, tweeting his support and a link to her stream.

CouRage announced an hour after tweeting the link that WowGrandma had gotten almost $20,000 in contributions, subs, and bits and “can afford the dentures she needs.” Soon after, Trainwreck walked in and presented WowGrandma with a large $10,000 contribution, which she was completely taken aback by. Her subathon timer had reached 220 hours, and she was worried that her computer could overheat.

WowGrandma is still streaming as of this writing, and if large streamers keep showing up, it could go on for much longer than she intended. It said, she appears to be having a good time, and perhaps that will continue.
