Corpse Husband Says he Was Not Faking His Voice

Youtube streamer and musician Corpse Husband has began his career on YouTube by narrating Horror stories on his channel back in 2015. Then in 2020, he started streaming and creating content for the video game Among Us that made him an absolute megastar because of his deep voice and mysteriousness. The game among us has been the background for his meteoric rise as he was always to be seen playing with other streamers across platform with the likes of Pokimane, Valkyrae, Disguised Toast and Sykkuno.

Throughout his career, Corpse Husband hasn’t shown his face but he has mega followings across social media following his YouTube success. During his May 6th live broadcast, when he got hands-on with the brand new Resident Evil Village game, he once again fielded questions about his voice and whether or not he was putting it on. Corpse husband is known for having a very deep voice that is caused by a medical condition known as Gastroesophageal reflux disease or simply GERD. GERD, is a digestive disorder that affects the ring of muscle between your esophagus and your stomach. This ring is called the lower esophageal sphincter.

Corpse Husband went on to respond to claims that he fakes his voice as he stated; “Is that your real voice? Man, if I could put on a fake voice for this many years straight, you should be fucking impressed.” Then he further put a challenge out there to see if others could copy him as he added; “To anyone who thinks that my voice is fake, try faking a voice like mine for more than a day or even 30 minutes. See if you’re able to.”
