CodeMiko Is Unbanned After 24 Hours

CodeMiko, a popular VTuber, was unbanned from Twitch just 24 hours after being banned for her ‘uncensored’ stream.

CodeMiko has been unbanned from Twitch just one day after obtaining her fourth ban and her roommate JustaMinx tweeting that she’d see her in a month. Codemiko was banned on June 6, 2022, according to the popular ban-reporting Twitter website Streamerbans. It appears that this is the fourth time the creator has been banned off the platform. Her most recent ban occurred in January 2021, about a month after Twitch banned the word “Simp” from the platform.

Fans flocked to Twitter to figure out why their favorite streamer was banned, and the explanation was swiftly revealed after a user tweeted a screenshot of her most recent stream.

The screenshot, titled “CodeMiko might get banned today,” shows Miko’s nude VTuber avatar with only a censor covering her body.

Nudity is against Twitch’s TOS, regardless of whether the avatar is censored or not, according to the community guidelines. Miko ‘baited’ her supporters with a tweet on her own profile minutes after the suspension was announced. “Perma???” she said.

Those concerned about the creator’s career will be relieved to see that JustaMinx promptly disproved her tweet with a reply. “See you in a month,” Minx tweeted.
