Christian Streamer Accuses Twitch Of Religious Discrimination

Christian Twitch streamer and self-proclaimed “esports missionary” DrWitnesser has opened up saying that he is planning on suing twitch after his indefinite ban from the platform. Earlier in January, DrWitnesser was indefinitely banned from the platform and the reason behind his ban was due to “hateful conduct.”

The ban came after a few months after he receive a seven day ban and the reason behind that ban was because he told a Muslim child that he would be “sentenced to hell”. Following the indefinite ban, DrWitnesser was streaming over youtube and revealed that he decided to legally challenge Twitch. DrWitnesser explained his plans and why he wanted to sue Twitch, showing a screenshot of what appears to be the legal papers for the proceeding. He wrote on twitter; “I’m currently seeking legal representation against Twitch & Amazon for unlawful termination of my Twitch account on the basis of religious discrimination. Unless Twitch restores my account in full and removes strikes against it, I will not waiver from this pursuit of Justice.”

Some were supportive of his decision but some were also mocked Witnesser in replies. One user sent him a picture of Twitch’s rules around hateful conduct and harassment, to which DrWitnesser explained that he did “none of that.” As he wrote in response; “That’s funny, because I literally did none of that, and since the 1st suspension, I have literally ASKED everyone if they wanted to know what the BIBLE says. Telling a muslim kid about what the Bible says is not harrasment, or discriminating behavior.”
