Charli D’Amelio Follows Tommyinnit on Twitter

After months of attempting to form an online friendship, Minecraft star TommyInnit has finally been followed by TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio on Twitter. 

TommyInnit, a 17-year-old Minecraft content creator, is well-known for his role in the enormously successful Dream SMP, which he co-hosted with numerous other well-known YouTube creators. Tommy has been attempting to befriend TikTok’s most-followed creator Charli D’Amelio online throughout 2021, and has made multiple attempts to do so across a variety of channels. Back in July Tommyinnit tweeted out after dueting her several times on TikTok; “Charli I keep dueting you and you keep ignoring me. Please reply charlie’dmelloh.” However, he was eventually ignored, much to his dismay, which only served to entertain fans even more.

Now, after months of waiting, Tommy said on November 27 that he had finally received a follow from the popular TikTok star. Tommyinnit posted a tweet alongside with a screenshot of the notification indicating that Charli followed him; “This is the most important moment of my life.”

Because of this, many of his fans were overjoyed to see that Tommy’s hard work had paid off, and his other content creators were quick to respond, with Dream and Sapnap sarcastically tagging Charli and stating, “wtf follow me.”

Although the two now follow one other on social media, it’s unclear whether they’ll work in the future. But if they collaborated on content, it wouldn’t be such a surprising combination.
