CDawgVA Streams IRL With Ironmouse

By bringing the immuno-compromised VTuber on a virtual tour of Tokyo in one of the most wholesome IRL streams to date, Twitch star Connor “CDawg” Colquhoun made Ironmouse day.

Ironmouse, one of the VShojo group’s most popular VTubers, was born with a condition known as Common Variable Immunodeficiency. Because her body is unable to resist bacterial and viral infections, she is exposed to them.

As a result, she is dependent on oxygen at all times of the day and is unable to leave the house. It also means she has a restricted amount of interaction with other people, which is why she opted to become a VTuber in the first place.

CDawg took her on a virtual tour of Tokyo live on stream in order to give her an experience she couldn’t get on her own. She broke down crying and thanked him for the amazing day after experiencing everything it had to offer. CDawg took her for a trip around Akihabara early in the stream. It’s widely regarded as the epicenter of Japanese pop culture and a great spot to shop for anime, manga, games, and other related items. As she watched CDawg cross the road into one of the main thoroughfares, Ironmouse was on the verge of tears. He won her a toy from a crane game as one of the first things he performed. At first, he failed, but later, he succeeded.

From eating exotic ice cream and playing games in an arcade to simply touching grass in an inner-city parkland and watching trains go by, Ironmouse saw him do it all. She savored every second of it. Ironmouse was delighted when she was taken for a stroll into an anime toy store near the end of the stream, where she was given a Kamen Rider belt and other items from her favorite series. 

Ironmouse’s emotions took over towards the conclusion of the hour. She erupted into tears of joy as she cried out. She stated; “It’s one of the best days ever. I had so much fun! Thank you for taking me out!”

She thanked him once more in an emotional tweet that she followed up with; “My face hurts from crying and smiling. Thank you all so much for joining us on this fun adventure, and thank you CDawg for being great.”

CDawg wasn’t the only one who was grateful to Ironmouse for taking her on a healthy adventure. He was praised for his efforts by many people, including non-VTuber viewers who aren’t familiar with the VTuber community.
