Boxbox Plays V Rising

After receiving “Trippy Shrooms” from a random NPC in V Rising, Twitch streamer Albert ‘BoxBox’ Zheng had an astonishing reaction.

V Rising, for those who are unaware, is the most recent game to achieve huge success on the Twitch streaming platform. V-Rising is a free-to-play open-world survival game in which players assume the character of a vampire awakening after a centuries-long slumber. 

NPCs move around the area, throwing out tasks and things to players, just like in other open-world games. BoxBox just came across an NPC dispensing some questionable fungus, and his reaction to trying it is hilarious. BoxBox came found an NPC named ‘Shaco’ while roaming through the jungle in V Rising, who offered him an item called ‘Trippy Shrooms.’

Despite the oddity of accepting “shrooms from a stranger,” BoxBox promptly questioned his buddy if the mushrooms should be eaten. BoxBox then read the item’s description, which cautioned, “Might make you feel trippy. Not recommended to eat.”

BoxBox ate the in-game fungus without missing a beat, soon realizing the description wasn’t a prank. BoxBox’s screen distorted and blurred in an instant, much to the astonishment and enjoyment of the streamer. BoxBox began fumbling around the jungle, shouting out to Shaco, to play up the situation. 

After reuniting with Shaco in the woods, he began inquiring about where he could locate more of the magic mushrooms. BoxBox’s Twitch clip exemplifies why V Rising is currently trending on Twitch.
