Botez Sisters Hit One Million Followers

Twitch streamer Andrea Botez honored her sister Alexandra Botez after their Twitch channel reached one million followers.

Andrea Botez and her sister Alexandra Botez were live streaming “Just Chatting” on their Twitch channel “BotezLive” during a recent livestream. Andrea complimented her older sister and revealed details about their relationship while streaming, much to the joy of hundreds of viewers.

BotezLive is a Twitch channel run by Andrea Botez and Alexandra Botez. The sisters run BotezLive, a chess-related channel. Alexandra, who is six years older than her younger sister, established the channel in 2017 while still in college. After the channel gained popularity, she was joined by her sister Andrea. BotezLive has surpassed one million Twitch followers, a significant achievement for the chess-playing team. Andrea and Alexandra were visiting Oslo at the time and were taking in the sights. They were live-streaming on Twitch while they investigated and reached the milestone throughout their broadcast.

As a result, both sisters decided to give a live statement to their audience. Andrea Botez, the youngest of the two, was the first to complete hers. Andrea gave fans of the channel and live viewers a glimpse into their sibling bond. She began her remarks by stating that the sisters were not particularly close because of their age gap.

Andrea Botez went on to describe how co-running a chess-based entertainment business has brought them closer together. She mentioned how quarantine assisted them in becoming closer as they bonded over their shared passion for the game. She spoke to the audience: “Unexpectedly Alex came to quarantine with her family and we weren’t expecting it to do so well. And I wasn’t expecting that Twitch was what brought us together. But before that I would have never ever thought that I’d end up living and working with my big sister who did become my best friend.”

Andrea Botez, on the other hand, managed to tease her sister by suggesting that they grew close due to the amount of time they spent together, not because they liked one another.

The video was quickly shared on the renowned LivestreamFails Reddit thread, where fans were able to interact with the Botez sisters. Some fans remarked on the speech’s wholesomeness. Others told their own memories regarding their siblings, sparking a lively debate among the audience.
