BigSyn Calls Out Twitch After Deleting Twerk Emote

Twitch streamer that goes by the username BigSyn, has called out the platform for permitting hot tub streamers on the platform while banning his animated emote “Twerk Butt.”

Twitch discovered a new meta exploding on the platform earlier this year and that is the hot tub meta. The hot tub meta is where the streamers are communicating with their viewers on stream while they are in the hot tub or swimming pools wearing a bikini.

The hot tub meta has taken over the whole platform for a long time with many streamers and viewers voicing out their concerns over the matter. While many suggested that Twitch should punish the streamers who have taken part of the meta, Twitch further came up with a solution as they created a new category called ‘Pools, hot tubs and beaches.’

After a long time has passed. It seems like the debate over the meta has not happened yet as of September 16th, streamer BigSyn called out the platform for removing an animated emote on his channel featuring a fully clothed bouncing butt while allowing the hot tub meta.

BigSyn took to twitter to address his concern as he posted a screenshot of the notice of the removal of his emote while captioning; “It’s wild that Twitch deleted my Twerk Butt emote. But I could literally get in a hot tub in a thong and show my ass to the world and it’d be ok. Twitch, y’all literally WILDN’ OUT”.

In his tweet, BigSyn referenced the platform “Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches” category that has received its fair share of criticism for the type of content it features.

His tweet has gained a lot of replies from the netizens and there, he seemingly found a solution to his emote problem. One user shared stating; “I think as long as you rename, it wouldn’t be flagged. I have a “booty” emote that’s never had issues,” BigSyn replied that he would try it.
