Asmongold Speaks up About Twitch Anxiety

OTK member and twitch streamer Asmongold has recently opened up about his battle on his twitch anxiety surrounding his struggles with performance stress and major anxiety during his latest live broadcast. Twitch streamer Asmongold whose real name is Zack is a well known World of Warcraft streamer and he is the co-founder of One True King which is a group of online content creators. He started streaming back in the year 2014 gaining a cult following as a World of Warcraft streamer.

Asmongold has now gained a massive following on the platform with more than 2 million followers and he has recently raked in 12.3k subscribers. Despite being clear that Asmongold has gained plenty of success on twitch, he recently went on to admit to having a struggle surrounding his really bad anxiety. On June 14th, Asmongold was streaming World of Warcraft on his another twitch account named zackrawrr and there he opens up about something that has plagued him since he was young.

While he claimed that it is not exactly depression, he said but he gets overwhelmed with performance anxiety. Here’s what he said; “It gets in my head, and I can’t really deal with it. I’ve tried to do other things instead of playing World of Warcraft on my stream, and when things happen I don’t expect I just shut down completely. I have horrible performance anxiety. I can’t even pretend to be okay either, when it happens, and it does really make me feel like complete shit, right? I’m not really… it makes me feel like a loser.” Then he further added that streaming puts a huge amount of stress on him. He also noted that he was planning on taking another hiatus as he stated, “I spend a lot of time trying to be another person. It’s all so exhausting. That’s why I have to take a break.”
